I utilise both my HR experience from a former life in large-scale infrastructure and my general coaching tool kit to present on high performance and mental health by looking at practical stress management tools, teaching teams how to regulate themselves so they can perform at their best individually and within a team.

Stress less, Smile more

Mental health awareness has been a great step for society; however, while working in Human Resources for five years, I observed that, in some ways, this increased awareness and reduced stigma, unfortunately, left businesses in a worse place than where they started. All of a sudden, so many people are coming forward as not okay, but what is the right way to handle this? This affects how people show up for work, absenteeism, staff turnover, and productivity and, in some cases, can open a business to liability around stress and burnout. 

This is why I created Stress less, smile more, a practical workshop educating on the consequences and symptoms of stress and how through practical tools, one can minimise its effects on the mind and body by improving emotional regulation and resilience. The education allowing not only for early detection of burnout and other mental health strains but also equips your staff with the ability to take proactive steps to avoid the negative effects of stress and the associated mental and physical strain.

    How?
    By educating on the consequences and symptoms of stress. Teaching how to minimise these consequences and improve stress management, emotional regulation and nervous system regulation. This has been found to improve immune health, a person's ability to think critically, stay calm, feel positive, connect with others and much more.

    This program can be delivered through presentation or with the addition of the practical component, where we will do more than learn about the tools but actually use them in session to ensure the learning is truly integrated. In both versions take, home material is provided to support the learning and implementation of the changes suggested.
